I’m Ember. My life is stitched together with creativity, community, and the joyful chaos of learning new things. I write to explore the quiet corners of emotion, the strange edges of imagination, and the moments that burn brightest in the human experience.
One of the biggest parts of my life is bell ringing — not as a metaphor, but as something I genuinely love. I spend time in church towers with friends, practising methods, sharing laughter, and taking part in a tradition that’s both ancient and alive. Bell ringing gives me rhythm, belonging, and a sense of being rooted in something bigger than myself.
When I’m not in a ringing chamber, you’ll usually find me crafting, drawing, or making something by hand. I love creating things — whether it’s a sketch, a small project, or a poem that arrives quietly when I least expect it. I also love long walks and listening to music, especially when I need space to think or a moment of calm between everything else.
I love learning, helping others, and finding joy in small discoveries — whether it’s mastering a new ringing method or figuring out how to turn scraps and ideas into something beautiful.
